I'm Erin!
I was born in Hawaii. I tell my husband this is why i’m always cold, I’m meant to live in a tropical climate.
I have a PhD in Biochemistry. I continue to do clinical research.
I’m a hockey mom, and spend a lot of time in rinks. I’ve even started to play around with some sports photography.
I love to travel and explore new places. My bucket list is full of places I dream of making it to one day.
I love a cozy blanket, a cup of tea and a good book, but also love to be outdoors, especially near the ocean or mountains.
Sunsets, rainbows and Northern Lights will always bring me joy.
After more than a decade of focusing on my science education and career I was always looking for outlets for my creative and artistic side. I have always loved snapping photos; sunsets, spectacular views, beautiful flowers or that moment when the light hits just right and it stops you in your tracks, I wanted to capture it all.
Once I had my two boys, they became my photography focus. I tried to capture each milestone and adorable moment so that I could always remember them. When we moved from Saskatchewan to the Okanagan I started to share my photos of all of the adventures we would go on, combining my love of nature and landscape photography with capturing my two little boys. I started to receive requests to take photos for other families and small businesses, and so decided to take a leap and transition my photography from a hobby to a profession. I enrolled in courses, workshops, mentorships and took as many photos as I could to gain more experience. That was more than 3 years ago and I have not looked back. I am so grateful to all of my amazing clients who have trusted me to capture their moments, big and small, and continue to book me and refer me to their family and friends. I seriously feel like I’ve won the job lottery after every session.
